This book picks up shortly after the guys have made things official and A Joyfully Jay review. This book picks up shortly after the guys have made things official and moved in together. I think Myles does a good job giving you the background on that story, so you could jump right into this book.
But honestly, I adored that one, and if you like slutty boys, virgin heroes, and some cross dressing, I would tell you to grab Tailor Made first for sure. The first book came out a while ago at least its original version, it has since been re-released so I was excited to see a follow up story for Felix and Andrew.
See a Problem?
I loved them together and enjoyed reconnecting with them here. We still can see many of the same traits as before. Felix is much more easy going, more wiling to take things as they come, while Andrew is more regimented and uptight. The guys are still fun together, sexy and playful, and a really enjoyable couple. When they do talk things out, they are adorable.
The English Duke
I liked that the problem written here was very, uhm, realistic , in terms of struggling with money and getting a job to make ends meet after one finishes college. About 3. About trying to reach your dream, do what you are most passionate about, but at the same time finding that you must sacrifice parts of it to get money. So yeah, I really liked this, slightly better than the first story even based on my rating, since I don't exactly re-read Tailor Made before starting this one, so I can't really remember the details Aug 26, Line rated it really liked it Shelves: mm-and-a-wee-bit-of-kink , mm-college , mm-will-definitely-read-again , mm-humor , mm-farmerbois , mm-fabulous-femme.
Man these two Felix and Andy-baby are back, and Felix is more weird and all-over the place and Andrew is more grown-up and concerned than ever. This book takes place a few months after the first one. Felix and Andy-baby live together, Felix is done with Uni, and Andy-baby is on holiday working in a cafe until classes start up again. Felix has no clue what to do with his life, he's done a few self portraits, but doesn't use his education otherwise. He works as a 'roman soldier' on the streets of Man these two He works as a 'roman soldier' on the streets of Bath trying to get foot-traffic to the shops.
At the same time Felix is slowly trying to figure out his kinks. In book 1, Andy-baby promised to make Felix a dress, which woke something up in him. He's now gravitating towards lace and silky underwear; he simply cannot help himself and he doesn't need to! But how do you explain to your partner that you're having a kink? How do you let that partner know, that you need something that wasn't there before? In the first book it was Andy-baby struggling, and accepting that reality is sometimes better than fantasy. In this one, Felix is the one struggling He wants to tell Andy-baby, and he tries, he really does, but opening up about something so personal, is not easy.
At the same time Felix is having issues being a grown-up in real life, he's not a student anymore who can JUST take student loans; now the loans need to be paid back! But the always conscientious Andy-baby gets him a part-time job at a hobby-shop and Felix also gets to showcase a few of his paintings in a local cafe. These paintings draw a local gallery owner to Felix and all of his dreams can come true, if he can just open up to Andy-baby and TALK to him But Felix can't figure out how, and Andy-baby is getting worried, very worried.
I really liked this book! I loved the kinks, I loved the characters and I loved the growing-up aspect of this one. Even though it is wrapped in english humor and a 'fluffy' blurp, this one deals with some interesting subjects. I was looking forward to visiting this pair again, and it was good to see them.
They still need to communicate better, but if their two interests didn't just make them fit together even more, I don't know what would have. I think that aspect could have been highlighted more - Andrew loves making feminine clothes, Felix likes wearing them. It just makes sense. I am I was looking forward to visiting this pair again, and it was good to see them. I am happy too.
Jun 28, Rachel rated it it was amazing. I read the first book in this series, Tailor Made, in so I feel I've been waiting forever to catch up with flirty Felix and sweet, shy Andrew.

This was certainly worth the wait, a fabulous story, wonderful characters and of course, this is Josephine Myles, hot sex! Loved it! View 1 comment. Aug 21, Lucy rated it really liked it. This is the continuation of the story of Felix and Andrew, a bad boy art student and a formerly uptight fashion student who met, clicked, fought and ultimately hit it off in Tailor Made.
Our couple is now firmly together and living in a little flat and worrying about money. Andrew is still in school; Felix has gone mainstream and gotten a job advertising in a Roman gladiator suit. One thing I adored about these two is they are so playful with each other. Their attic apartment has no air This is the continuation of the story of Felix and Andrew, a bad boy art student and a formerly uptight fashion student who met, clicked, fought and ultimately hit it off in Tailor Made.
Their attic apartment has no air conditioning and these boys are suffering in the heat. They make due by using a plant mister and have mister fights that turn sexy. It was the cutest. The best part of the story for me was when they are alone together and being themselves, silly and endearing.
Andrew suffers from a lifetime of repression for who he is and so bottoming, well that is out of the question. Felix is so patient and accepting of this but Andrew really has a hard time. We also have Felix, who is keeping secrets from Andrew, both professionally and personally. He worries so much about what Andrew will think about his wanting to wear a dress or lingerie and he goes to great lengths to hide it.
And so the difficulty begins, because Andrew is so worried about money and Felix is so busy hiding his secrets that the relationship has to suffer some. They do have sex, lots and lots of sex. A man who happens to like wearing feminine clothing. Go Felix.

For me, the story had most impact when it focused on how the two worked their relationship. The professional part, well, I felt bad for Andrew with that one. Since we have a reformed man-whore and a reformed virgin, you knew things were going to take a little getting used to. These guys manage it without much angst or drama.
As did I. Aug 18, Caroline Brand rated it really liked it Shelves: , 4-star-read , m-m , reviewed-for-prism. Catching up with Andrew and Felix was such good fun. Felix is just as flirty and flighty as ever whereas Andrew spends most of his time being very practical or as Felix sometimes thinks a little bit boring.
For me this story was very much about Felix and his struggles to adjust as well as deal with who he actually was. Felix has secrets that he feels embarrassed and afraid to share and Andrew has a fear of something personal that he has built up in his head to be far bigger than it eventually proves to be. This was a brief interlude and catch up with two very funny characters.

You could just about get away with reading this as a standalone but if you start with book 1 you will get far more enjoyment and a lot of fun out of it. Apr 13, Lillian Francis rated it it was amazing. I have to confess to a vested interest in this book. Then she allowed me a sneak peek at the finished manuscript under the guise of beta reading. And a pre read of the finished copy. Disclosure out of the way, now on with the review.
I've waited so long to spend more time with sexy sweet Andrew and flirty Felix. And it was I have to confess to a vested interest in this book.
And it was definitely worth the wait. The boys are living together now and still madly in love but living together brings it's own challenges. Felix is flighty where Andrew is responsible. Felix has finished his degree and Andrew still has uni.
